Following the changes to the school lunch offer at The Rowans, we have been really pleased to see the positive impact this is having on the pupils during lunchtimes.

We believe that offering pupils healthy food and a constructive lunchtime is really beneficial and as such, we would like to offer all pupils a free school lunch for the whole of Term 6 (ie. from 1^st June to 21^st July 2015). This will be a trial and the take up of lunches and impact on pupils will determine whether we continue this into the next academic year. 

The free lunch option will consist of;

One main - wrap, roll or jacket potato with various fillings every day and with unlimited choice of up to 12 salad ingredients. Meat slice and chips option on Fridays only.

One pudding - fruit, yoghurt every day; hot pudding on Mondays, fruit muffin on Thursdays). 

Any additional items will need to be paid for – main at £1.45 and pudding at 75p. Please encourage your child to take advantage of the lunch on offer every day
