All pupils are expected to bring their PE kit to every lesson even when they are not participating due to illness or minor injury. This allows pupils to take a more active role in the lesson, either as an umpire or a coach.

Each pupil must have a PE kit for use within PE lessons, this includes:

• A black Rowans PE t-shirt – to be purchased at £5 from the school office
• Black shorts or tracksuit bottoms
• Trainers
• A black jumper/hoody for winter sports

Failure to bring kit will result in zero uniform points on the pupils’ day sheets in PE and 15 minutes make up time after school. Pupils may bring their PE kits in and leave them in their form rooms if they wish during the week to avoid forgetting it and these will be washed by school staff.
