The Explore Curriculum at The Rowans Primary School

At The Rowans Primary School, we have thoughtfully adapted our approach to meet the unique needs of each child, particularly those who may have experienced gaps in learning due to missed education. Building upon the core principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and the expectations of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum, we have developed a bespoke Explore Curriculum designed to re-engage children and reignite their love for learning.

The Explore Curriculum prioritises play and exploration as powerful tools for learning, providing children with a dynamic and engaging educational experience. Each child benefits from personalised learning activities and access to individual workstations, alongside opportunities for small group work to enhance communication and social interaction skills.
