They visited various departments and got a feel for what college life is like.

We visited many departments including construction, engineering, carpentry, business and media.

Pupils were interested in how the courses were taught by speaking to teachers at the college regarding how much practical work was completed and how units were tested. Whilst we were at the college it was lovely to see some of our past students learning and they were able to give our current year 11’s an insight into college life from a student’s point of view.

Pupils came away with a clear idea of what college life is and what Mid Kent College can offer them in regard to their post 16 choices.
