The Rowans PRU are delighted to announce that their students have obtained the best results in the unit's history.
Despite the first nationwide dip in students passing, 69% of the pupils achieved 5 A*-G including Maths and English, a 12% increase on last year, and 33% achieved 5 A*-C grades, a 26% increase on last year. This shows the rapid progression at The Rowans since 2011, when just 16% achieved 5 A*-G grades.
The unit's head girl, Chelsey Smith, earned the best results of any student in The Rowans' history, a feat she claimed wouldn't have been possible for her in mainstream education due to the support of the dedicated staff at The Rowans.
